List Of Extras When Buying Mazda 2

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if anyone here knows the list of extra available with the Mazda 2. I know they have a list of standard 'free' extras, but on top of this what are other things worth pushing for?

I got :

insurance

film

mats

boot liner

500 thb fuel

rear reversing sensors

Which model did you get? I want a manual, so am only looking at the basic model.

Basic sport with auto for the better half September last year also added leather seat covers at an extra 7500thb - easy to clean with 2 monkey kids!

What made you choose the Mazda 2? I test drove one yesterday and don't think it's that suitable for hwy driving, however I wouldn't be surprised if other cars in this range have a similar feel.

I don't find it a drama on the highway better than a others not as sure footed as a Jazz/city in the price range but close feels alot better than yaris/soluna and march that I test drove. Its the wife's car so mainly used for short trips around town. But I've done Nakhon Sawan down to Hua Hin/Bkk/Pattaya with out any dramas a few times.

Overall pretty happy with the car and the service from the local Mazda garage.

I have a company car and are hopefully going to get a new one in the very near future!

The only issue with the basic car is only one airbag, not one for the passenger. On the automatic version the model with 2 airbags was 50k more. In hindsight I should have done it. I didn't know what driving here was like. Now I know.

I think my Mazda 2 is great. I don't know what Smithson is talking about. My only criticism is the windhield post creates a blindspot. You get used to it.

Standard transmittion for the Thai girl, huh?

All mazda 2's now have 2 airbags, even the base model MT. Main problem with the base "groove" is the lack of engine immobiliser, but perhaps some aftermarket system could be fitted.
