Hi. I have just returned to Samui after 2 years absence and can't find any of the very colourful "rag mats". They wash well, are durable and don't fall apart like the new synthetic carpet squares which are currently available.

I have found a few very small round rag mats but not the square ones. Can anyone help please?

Perhaps try the "10 baht shops", dotted around the island??? In Maenam there are two if not three of them.

Or perhaps the Walking Street vendors, set up on different days of the week in different areas...

I saw them in Tesco Lamai last weekend. They haven't had them in stock in ages so I remember seeing them.

If not have you tried Big C I used to always see them there but I haven't been up that way in ages.

I have to agree they last ages and easy to was. Sometimes you find interesting ones like I had one with Spongebob square pants material??
