English The Only Subject At Northern Thai High School?

Featured Replies

Hi TV,

Heard today about a high school up north in Phetchabun that has only one subject- English.

For children aged 11-18 this seems unusual.

What about other subjects eg: History, Geography, Sciences etc.

The school does not have a website or e-mail address.

The pupils can only try to talk engish all day and no thai.

Does this seem like a normal thai curriculum.

Thanks for all replies in advance.

Why not. It seems ''history'' that is taught is a bit one sided. sad.png

Maybe you misunderstood and evey subject is teached in English? (Besdes Thai of course) That is not that unusual.

A school only teaching English would not very likely get approval from the Ministry of Eduction.
