Hi,

Right now Im on my third in a row tourist visa....all from malaysia(one from KL two from penang)

Question is will they issue a fourth tourist visa? I heard once in the past that you can only get

3 tourist visas in a row? Is this true?

Thanks

There is no set limit but individual Consulates may set a limit at there location. Best to check before travel if possible.

Were they single or double entries? Did you get extensions?

If single you probably could get a new one from Vientiane or try Penang if you did not get an extension.

As said there is no fixed rule.

Savanakhet is your best chance I would say.

Going through an agent is the bestest :) chance

Visa Run company's, because some pay monthly fees to have priority and special treatment.

In Lao, company i went with, did not even need us present in consulate to submit or collect, they did it all

The one i went with was called sea air travel or something along the lines, they are in soi post office in Pattaya.

While the visa part was great, service itself was not.

WE had 12 adults in a minibus all the way to Lao, ie you could hardly breath as everyone was squeezed like lemons.

No TV, no Music, just full silence all the way there and back.

HOWEVER there are many other company's like 5 star visa runs, and few others who have same kind of deals

TVR Visa Runs is a great company I've used multiple times. from phuket to malaysia.

They bring us to the hotel in the morning and collect the passports for us as well. No visit to the

embassy is necessary. Very convenient if you ask me! :)

I will try for the fourth, hopefully it wont be a problem! :)

Thanks

Five Star Visa Runs and 1st Class Visa Runs use a guy from Sea Air Land Travel anyway but just charge more for their commission I guess. I wish they used the same vans that go to Cambodia but I guess it isn't as cost feasible for going to Lao. How much did you pay phl? When I went we had to go the embassy for a few minutes while the passports were handed in but not to pick them up.

Ya that's about the same price I paid for a double entry TV through Five Star.
