Is the Phuket post office open on Saturdays? I read somewhere that it's open until noon but would like to confirm. Thanks a lot!

I know the ones in Kata and Chalong are open in the morning. Don't know about any of the other ones.

In case anyone is out Rawai/naiHarn way, the Rawai post office at DiVinci's/NaiHarn Gym complex is open till 8pm. It is even open Sunday, but may have shorter hours, I don't recall. Privately owned but can do most everything. Has PO boxes too.

My wife regularly uses the main Post Office in Phuket Town (where the stamp museum is), and she tells me it closes at midday on Saturdays.

Kathu closes around midday too.
