Safe Deposit Boxes In A Local Bank

Featured Replies

1 more newbie question pls.

Are there any banks here where I can keep my cash (without opening an account) and jewelry?

I.e. the ones with safe deposit boxes?

Hopefully you can recommend some located near TESCO Chaweng.

Thank you in advance.

Most likely have to open up an account.I always thought so anyway

And how am I going to keep my jewelry on that account? With all respect mate

All safety deposit boxes and post boxes are occupied.

You can always join the waiting list, in my SCB office nobody has given up their safety box for seven years now.

No idea how long the line is for a post box, don't bother.

I bought a safe instead.

best chance is to monitor if there's a new bank office opening and ask there (with a big bribe)

I rented a safety box at Tanachart Bank (but I stay in Koh Phangan). Difficult they will have one free but you can try in Samui.

If business is so hot why don't they open more new ones?

I'm surprised you would ask this question, I would think if your are not a customer that means having an account, why would they give you access to a safety deposit box.

Good business for a newbie

Could you pls check if they have one free now?

Sounds not too crazy to have it there and make cheerful trips when I need to

Thanks in advance

Because I'll pay for it as for any other service. Isn't that natural?

What is Natural on Samui??

(Do you really think, they need the amount for the Box you want to rent??)

Sorry........cheesy.gif

And for the Safety Box on KP, good Idea to put your jewelrys over there, so you can easily wear them on the

You can try the Thanachart Bank in Bangrak or Maenam. They have Safety deposit boxes. But I think before you can get one, you need to open an account with them. Thanachart Bank is the ex Siam City Bank with the orange colour in the logo. Maybe you are lucky and they still have an emptry box. But I am not sure.

Good luck,

Carlos

FULL security used to have private boxes but i do not kwow if they are still open or if they have moved. they used to be on the ring road around the IT complex.

The formal application process is to do some schmoozing at a local restaurant

Also Samui storage might help
