No Problems here Astral, all working good so may be an issue with your connection (?) thx for reminding me tho of this site as I just downloaded a few good documentaries.

I could bypass it by using the local DNS not OpenDNS

Just a worrying move when outsiders start to tell us which sites we can access

An update from UKNova

We have done a bit of digging. Open DNS has a voting system whereby registered members can declare sites for blocking under a number of categories. It is not published what the threshold is, but if a site gets enough votes it is blocked. It can be unblocked by registered members voting it "clean" and that is what seems to have happened in this case!

Rather arbitrary in my book :bah:

Two demerits for OpenDNS in recent weeks: first it was the service they offered, which slowed my system/connections down considerably. I ended up uninstalling it.

Then I started getting messages like in the OP. I haven't searched thoroughly, but I was unable to find a way to turn off this pre-judgement system. I also have gone with the default DNS that comes with the DHCP service.

Voting system, eh? When I hear that I think of people with an agenda stuffing the ballot box. Eg, forget about sites that have anything to do sex, the bible thumpers in the US will make an effort to control the numbers on that one. For torrents, I could see the entertainment industry putting some effort into getting those shunned. It being an election year in the US all sorts of fun stuff can start happening on this front.

OpenDNS has to get their act together.
