Yes it sold out before the line up was known and tickets were printedsmile.png

Sponsored by Heineken I'm disappointed they didn't get Armin Van Buuren or Tiesto to perform.

Sensation aint about the lineup.

it's about the experience. and the gum chewing.

5555 ah someone who knows what he is talking about. We all know what the gum chewing does to girls.

I posted this in another thread on the same subject.

As pyrotechnics signaled the start and with the first beats reverberating, however, everyone remained standing still. White lights from innumerable smartphone screens dotted the vast space like pseudo stars in the night sky, with most of the supposed fun-seekers too busy taking photos or recording video clips of the elaborately decorated DJbooth and stage

I guess things are different here but no house music fan worth his salt would buy [expensive] tickets to a party night without knowing who was gonna be playing which suggests the majority are going for the spectacle and the numerous photo opportunities they can upload to "friends" saying "Hey, I'm cool. I was there" just like the Samsung Mobile "Lifestyle" commercials have trained them to.

Having now seen the line up, I think the music might actually be ok but it's the motivations of the attendees that will let the night down just as they did in Korea.

I have been in the markanti in Amsterdam a few times and i can garantee you that is different. I never went to sensation black or white but according to my brother it always was one big party. People came to dance (and use) not to take pictures.
