Does anyone have a clever strategy for dealing with the new and highly-retarded "plastic cup" rule now in place at the FC Phuket games...? The ideal solution would be to get a pickup with a keg in the back and park in near the back entrance and sell refills that way...If anyone does, I'll certainly be a repeat customer ...

Apparently this rule was put in place after some moron threw some sort of container during the Krabi game..what a shame that we all have to suffer as a result...

Anyway, let's hope the weather is as good tomorrow as it was last week..Go Phuketwai.gif

Been common place at sporting events for years in Aus. It's a good move for the people who are actually there to enjoy game without the lager louts spoiling it with senseless violence.

Why do they ban alcohol during voting in Thailand?

Emotions running high and liquor isn't always the best combination.

Sounds like Thailand/Phuket is becoming another "Nanny State." :) :) :) :)

Better than an accidental bottle in the back of the head from drunken somchai whos team just got scored against.

You would be shocked at some of the incidents there in the past.

Sporty people and sports fans. The ones who do and then the ones would do it way better when they are drunk.

I sit with the "hulks" and there are always people filling large plastic bags of beer plus cool boxes full from the car park exactly as you describe.
