Online Processing/Merchant Acct With A Thai Bank?

Featured Replies

Has anyone successfully set up a merchant acct for online sales via a local bank yet sell to mainly overseas countries. Who did you use and what were the fees, limitations etc. Any recommedations?

I setup a merchant account on behalf of my employer with Krungsri and developed both the web and mobile payment gateway.

No limitations really and we use THB and USD

On the end of the page is a pdf file that you can download.

bangkok bank doesn't seem to be foreigner friendly with the merchant account. Is it not possible for a foreigner to have signatory ability on an account? But the merchant account seems to have very fast processing of funds (next day deposit into merchant account?). Does the merchant have to provide any additional documentation for certain purchases (even if no chargeback exists)?

Anyone comment on the chargeback policies? Seem to be merchant friendly, but I can't see any policies on how to challenge chargebacks (if it is possible).
