Pollution

Featured Replies

Just noticed these two photos side by side in the Peking Duck thread. Was the one on the right taken recently? Note the dirty brown pollution.

Season seems to be well advanced now. Only, what, 4 1/2 months to go before we can breathe clean, non carcinogenic air again....

This photo was taken yesterday. Note the obvious inversion layer keeping our brown gases nice and low to the ground here.

Doesn't seem too bad to me (yet), but the pollution is definitely further along than it used to be mid-January. :o

Still have blue sky and boring sunset colours here, but it seems to me that last year was worse in mid January :o

The finest view of the smog layer I had from Doi Suthep two days ago. :o It seems to cover the entire Chiang Mai valley. Unfortunately I don't have an image server.
