Tsm On Android

Featured Replies

Anyone know if there is a way to get TSM on a Android tablet?

An application that can read the TSM or convert the TSM to a different format???

Anyone tried before?

Not sure if this can help? Would be cool if we could use TSM on an Android, but I still am not satisfied with the actual real-time GPS response with an Android device - I have tried an SGS1, 2 and 3 - when compared with a relatively basic nuvi unit.

Real-Time: no....

For Symbian is a solution...buggy but working, but my TF700t has no 3G and even if it would I don't want to pay all the time.....

Nokia maps have recently been vastly improved. Unfortunately they have shot themselves in the foot because the new maps will NOT work on my three year old (E52) Nokia phone. It's not likely that I would buy another upmarket Nokia phone.

The Nokia map application is available from Android market place but they are somewhat buggy and you must be online to use them.

Having tried most of the GPS maps available for my Android phone, I very much prefer the basic Garmin dedicated units using the TSM map. Smart phones now have excellent cameras but they still have a long way to go for GPS maps.

Yes I also love my Garmin....But when having with me: My laptop, my tablet (bought the TF700t), my mobile phone, my backup drive I don't want to also take my Garmin, if I don't expect to need it.....

For my old Symbian phone there is the Garmin software, which is buggy but it works good enough. While the Garmin is better the phone is good enough for every days normal usage.
