[Myanmar] Information Ministry Website Hacked

Featured Replies

The website of Burma’s Information Ministry was hacked on Tuesday by a group calling on the Burmese government to “stop the killing of Muslims†and warning that “all the worshipers of Buddha everywhere in the world†will be attacked if violence against Rohingyas continues. According to to report by Mizzima, the hackers also posted a photo of charred bodies on the website’s homepage. The cyber-attack comes amid a growing outcry in the Muslim world against Burma’s handling of communal clashes between ethnic Arakanese Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims.
