August 9, 201213 yr Hi, Does anyone know if the Motorola DOCSIS 3.0 modem will work with internet service providers in Thailand?
August 9, 201213 yr DOCSIS is a cable-modem spec. Since most providers use ADSL over the phone lines then no, it won't work. If you get cable TV / internet (city centres mostly) then it may well work, the standard is supposed to be international, but the provider will usually supply the modem anyway. Perhaps if you share the exact names f the video services others can chime in as to experiences? http://www3.truecorp..._speed_Internet http://www.trueonlin..._area/index.php One of several longish threads on the DOCSIS service.
