No More Dmx From Truevision

What’s the latest from True Vision saying that all DMX channels will be terminated from the 16^th September 2012?

Will that mean no more music full stop!!

Time I found anothe supplier.

AI just noticed the notification, too. Probably just the two of us listening to it. I sure hope they replace it with something. I've also got Tunein Radio streaming through my iPhone/iPad through the same audio system. I liked DMX because I could keep my iPhone/iPad with me around the house and still listen to decent music (DMX 204). If it is not replaced, the iPhone or iPad will have to stay docked. Tunein Radio has a far, far better selection of stations though.

Man, that really blows, I know I'll miss it.

Is there something similar to tunein but with more functions. I'd like to be able to program multiple recordings and listen at the same time.

I noticed this today as well. I love these channels, often turn them on when I have people at the house, cleaning etc. I plan to call and ask what their reasoning is, maybe if people call and complain they will bring them back (like ASN).

You should be used to it by now, they are a law unto themselves,

and I bet they did a survey !! that told them no one wanted Dmx!!

What exactly is DMX? I noticed the message on a couple of radio channels but not all. There was no message on the Thai radio channels (MET 107) etc.

did anyone get anything from True on this? was going to call them myself, i would also miss those channels.

just called True, the operator i spoke too simply said that the service was being withdrawn by DMX not a decision taken by True so outside their control. (bills not being paid!?) she had no idea if the channels would be used for other music stream providers.
