Some how though, I don't believe it rained all night in Ban Por.... I'm going to ride down there and see how many poodles are lying along the road....

But next time can you be more accurate as to where it will rain....I need to know whether I should take my brolly .....

Would the disbelievers like to have a look at the official rainfall figures for Samui on the 16th of August which happened to be a Thursday.

I never stipulated a specific suburb / area, I said Koh Samui.

Well there was a few very light sprinkles around Maenam, around lunch time...

So where else had some rain?

and no BS stories this time....... we only want the facts!

Big rain has just started here in Maenam .... 7.25 pm... I'm so happy ! I won't have to water the garden tomorrow!

Yeah people from the "cold white north" can't fathom that.... feeling cold and shivering when it drops below 30 C ..... brrrrr!

Wait until it drops to 25 c or less !

Rain did not amount to very much here last night.... let's hope for more, .... waiting on an accurate weather forecast from YKW ...

We had a fair bit of rain here in Plae Laem last night and very strong winds.

Of course the following power cut meant a nice romantic candlelight dinner witth 'her indoors'.
