Tibet’s spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, has written to Burmese pro-democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi  to express his concern about recent communal violence between Buddhists and Muslims in Arakan State, according to Phayul.com, an exiled Tibetan news service based in India. The letter was made public on Wednesday, when the prime minister of the Tibetan government-in-exile, Lobsang Sangay, met with Muslim leaders in New Delhi on the occasion of Eid, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Sangay also sought to clarify that Tibetans were not involved in the clashes.
