Guys

I have a D-Max V-Cross.

I want better lighting ... the brighest that I can get that won't upset oncoming traffic too much. I've seen a kit at the Isuzu dealer and I just need to decide what 'number' to get. The higher the number the more blue as I understand it. I have no desire to look good by having a blue light.

Also are kits available for full beam?

I'll get Isuzu to align the light correctly............

Advice please ... someone just tell me what to get please

I paid 2900 in my MU7 from Hi Tech at Puttamonton Sai 2 and have 18months guarantee. Bankkenn wanted 4k with 12 months guarantee. I've replaced my side lights with white bulbs 300 baht but saw little to no point in doing the high beams.

With HID mains and fogs I'm doing okay and only rarely need high beams. That said I did intend to buy a higher K bulb to get the white look but couldn't immediately obtain them so parked that idea

Is this the new v-cross?

Is this the new v-cross? ... Yes got it in March. I put quite an expensive window film on which is very light but keeps out the heat. But in Thailand there is not a lot of road lighting like there is in the UK so I just want a little extra help to see where I'm going at night ... the edge of the road is not often defined.

Ah understood - I upgraded my fogs to HiD/Xenon and haven't had to last minute swerve around a sleeping dog since

Check Page 4 here for some photos of the light output from a PJS

Some numbers from MRO on page 5

Both the projector fogs and the main beam projectors were both 4300K xenons, so were color matched smile.png

The LED's were approx 5000-6000 Kelvin, but I was not interested in going that high on color temp for the lights I use to see the road with - that would defeat the purpose of upgrading to xenon in the first place wink.png

The high beams on that car were still halogens, but upgraded to 100W 'super white' (or some such), so close-ish to the main beam and fog color. Even then, due to the massive light output of the 4 xenon projectors, the high beams didn't contribute much except for illuminating distant street signs wink.png

I answered your PM Jas but if anyone is interested I have had fitted white xenon's in all my six light's two being spot's. The main/high beam I wouldn't be without on dark road's you can see for km, almost like driving in the day in a word fantastic. My tip would be if your going to fit xenon's go the hole hog. Oh and I haven't had to have them realigned just had the bulb's fitted + the booster's they come with the kit, not had a problem.

http://www.hitechcar....com/index.html run this through Google Translate

http://www.hitechcarshop.com/map.html Map ... it's out past the Mall Bang Khae - note Lemon Spa is a girly massage place - you won't be able to get a clean massage while you wait and there's bugger all to do in that area

If you want to stay central. http://www.facebook....ww.bankkin.com/ On Rama 4 between Queen Sirikit and the Expressway (on the left heading to Sathorn from QS) but they are more expensive

Bankkin did my interior ambient lighting, Angel Eyes and daytime runners - Hi Tech did my HiDs. I found I had to watch Bankkin carefully and query every price!
