Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if Sukhumvit Rd (travelling from BKK to Pattaya) is quietest early morning weekdays or early morning weekends? Thanks in advance.

Definitely early morning weekends... preferably Sunday.

I assume you'd be heading down Sukhumvit to Bang Na, getting on the elevated tollway to Chonburi, the Chonburi bypass, then Highway 7 to the Highway 36 junction?

Sunday morning before 8 a.m. is usually very quiet. I used to do it all the time to view progress on my house. However this Sunday is Chinese new year, so there might be a bit of an exodus out of Bnagkok, but I still think before 8 am should be OK. Nobody gets up early on a Bank Holiday.

I agree with you Joey, Friday afternoon is usually quiet as most of the traffic at that time is heading back to Bangkok for the weekend.
