Hello, I'm looking for a store in Samui that supplies more then just the usual flower horns and arrowanas and community fish.

I've seen a few shops on the ring road, but none of them look any good.

Thanks

Al

One of the shops that comes to mind, is on the left hand side heading towards Lipa Noi beach.

There are many shops selling tropical fish both fresh and salt.

Lamai coming from Lamai to Hita Hin Yai on left.

Salt and fresh next to Muslim market Whatanon.

Shop on corner after turn to Tong Krut.

New shop before Lipa Noy trafic lights on right.

Shop opposite Ayadua yellow bank in Nathon.

Parade of shops in Maenam on left driving to Bhoput.

You did not say what special fish you are after.

Hope this all helps.

(coming from Bophut) There is a fish shop just after Soi one the bridge (and big blank sign... at least I think it is still blank blink.png ) on left side ...block before you get to Angela's Bakery, in Maenam... found some nice fish in there once and the birds ate them the next day...whistling.gif

You see signs around, for Mr blank blank (Chan maybe) Fishes shop.... I've never figured out where the shop (s) are...

It's on the ring road in Chewang near the new football stadium. I think that it is between the traffic lights (Lake Road) and the Stadium.

The spelling on the sign is Fishs shop. That is why I remember it.

Also for the OP - there is a new place building large fish tanks - near Big Buddha. Opposite side of the road - toward Choengmon. (less that 200 meters from BB.)

Thanks folks, I found a guy to build me the tank, and he seems pretty switched on which is nice. He's getting the glass tempered in bkk and sent down to Samui.

I spoke to him about the fish I require and he said as I though, no chance of getting them in Samui. But he can arrange from bkk.
