Wifi Router Recommendation

Featured Replies

Earlier this year I moved to a new room within the same condo. While relocating the internet, True gave me a new WiFi router, with a two year service commitment. Since then my once excellent True internet has been significantly worse; much slower with frequent disconnects. Repeated visits from True technicians has failed to fix the problem. Before changing ISP's, and paying whatever penalty is associated, I thought I'd try another WiFi router. Can anyone recommend a basic, reasonably priced router available in Chiang Mai? I don't need anything fancy, I just want webpages to load reasonably quickly and to be able to listen to internet radio without frequent disconnects.

I've bee using a Buffalo Air Station for about a year now and found that it works as advertised. Model number WCR-GN. It's definitely not top of the line but, it was cheap, cheaper, cheapest so it can't hurt to much to experiment with. Not to mention the easiest setup I've ever come across. Got it at the computer mall on the north side of the moat. There are three place there, the one I'm talking about is in the middle.

Cisco Systems Linksys WiFi router-modem. Bought mine at Panthip Plaza (Good Speed branch) and they give 3 year warranty, free service, software upgrades, etc. Not at all expensive. Works 100% better than the Hatari that 3BB supplies. Highly recommended.
