Hi Folks.

Wish nice folks on Thaivisa.com can help us out.

We need a new Technician to repair our Electric sliding gate and to also service our electronic key-card entry system.

It seems like our contractor is fooling with us, first they came out said "5000 Baht for new sensor will do the job" then said "another 9500 Bath for board" then now saying "another 14000 Baht for new motor".

So we asked them "Any more expenses?" and answer was we don't know yet.

The whole thing sounds like usual Technician BS to us and we really would like to get a second opinion from another Techician.

For easy understanding, I am attaching picture of our gate.

You can buy a whole set (motor, remotes, safety beam/sensor and all fittings) for under 10,000 Baht in Global house (Chonburi or Rayong).

Have one a very heavy gate and it is handling it nicely...

The one in the pic does look like a more expensive imported model, but still, 28,500 Baht in spare parts???!?
