Hi, I am an American with an A.A. degree. I want to move to Thailand and finish my degree and I would like to become a teacher (teaching is just something I want to do, Thailand or not). Do you guys know of any universities in BKK offering degrees in education? Thanks.

Hopefully we'll have some posters come along with information that might help you out. In the meantime, you might want to take a look at this thread:

Thanks for the link, Scott... Very interesting forum, seems like there is a lot of controversy associated with that school/program, but I am looking for that type of degree... One hopefully that I could also use in the US if I ever decide to move back there (I'm still quite young...)

Currently trying to get into a Ratchipat Uni for this but they dont appear to recognise previous learning and work experience. I need to ask more questions as I dont have 3-4 more years of study in me. At that point I will be approaching the age where thais dont want you anymore - 45 years old (sad).

When I know more, I will post on here.

My apoligies Scott. I will not post a link. Nakorn Payap International School in Chiang Mai is offering a bachelors and masters degree in Education from Winnipeg University. All classes are in Chiang Mai and the prices are very good.

Google the school name and look for the link on the first page.

22,850 Canadian dollars is pretty steep for 60 credit hours.

Don't go by the price online. Call the Chiang Mai number on the website. The lady at Nakorn Payap will give you the Chiang Mai price.
