Mushroom Growing Course

Hi. I was talking to a man and his wife here for a little break and he was telling me he did a course on growing mushrooms at the university in Ubon. Does anyone have any information on this course etc. The wife and I are looking to move to our land near there and I sounds like something I could get into to beat the boredom. A bit off topic, but our moo ban is adjacent to a mushroom farm that explodes fireworks periodically, a large bang or two. Gossip says it helps in the growing of mushrooms? Anyone have a clue why this bangs go on?
