I have just spent the last five in Songkla and I must admit it was refreshing change from all the crap here in Phuket but I was just wondering if there are any Indian Restaurants down there?

I know there are plenty muslim places but I mean real Indian places.

There are a few of the ex pat bars that sell indian curries that come from here on Samui. I have had a few good feasts there. Try the office or the corner bar, at least thats what I think they call it as its on the corner wink.png I do enjoy a weekend down there to get off the island. a nice drive down the coast road and some stunning scenery.

Put that in google map.

Around Hat Yai Rama Hotel. Locals call the street "Saai 2"

Nipatuthit 2, Hat Yai, Songkhla 90110, Thailand

Nice Indian food, run by an Indian family.

Yes, that's Namaste Orange restaurant. As Kleenexboy said, good food and run by a nice family.

I've eaten there and thought the food was good for the price. There was another one near the Regency Hotel a few years ago but Immigration raided the place and the cooks all got deported back to Bangladesh apparently.

Thumbs up for Namaste Orange though.

So somebody ships curries down from Samui.

Who supplies them on Samui?
