Tippaporn
<snip>Off topic but . . . can't we have a wai-ing smilie available. Most apropos for this site, don't you think? If someone could design one, I'm sure it could be added to the smiley menu. There's an invitation to anyone with graphic ability. I'd love to see one added. Not so fast.... So quick to deny me my moment in the sunshine, Brit. Now I need a crying emoticon. At least I didn't have to suffer an insult such as poor FlyingDutchman did. Jai Dee
Thanks, Jai Dee. These need to be saved and then entered as attachments, right? I'll answer my own question, I guess. That's one way of doing it... the other way is to reference the HTML link of the picture/animation in your reply. For example, the rolling eyes smilie above has the following HTML link (minus the spaces of course): h t t p://w w w.thaivisa.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif Right click on any picture/animation in a web page and you'll see the URL address. If responding in the ThaiVisa Forum there is this button above the reply box , simply click on it, insert the URL address of the picture you want to post, and click OK. Plus
In a wai-ing smiley the face should go down a bit, too. It was a good fast work, but there's always something to improve - just look at these two crying ones - I bet there were hours of adding details and fiddling with timings. Blimey, inserting an image is not so easy in Fast reply mode. Edited February 8, 2006 by Plus

Blimey, inserting an image is not so easy in Fast reply mode. I have to make it a smily format 20x20, so the face can't drop down, you wouldn't see the praying hadns properly. meadish_sweetball
Great work Flying Dutchman. You could perhaps change the eyes to two horizontal lines, and let these lines drop one step when the hands approach the face. That could give the impression of a stooped head - as in this Chinese one: http://www.artkaos.net/smileys/jap.gif Another possible improvement could be to broaden the smile on both sides when the hands are in their highest position. Just suggestions, maestro.
