because i have an i-mobile Q6 running Android ICS. took it off the charger at 7am . about 20 minutes internet.. 20 minutes on TV app and downloaded a few ring tones... 75% now.

Don't you just love it when the "fix" for crappy battery life is to turn everything off that you bought the phone for in the first place.

By the time you've switched off everything they recommend you're left with.... A phone.

At least my Blackberry still gives me a full day with it's crappy little battery and push 'everything' enabled... Wish I could say the same for my Android, it's down to 60% by the time I get off the bog in the morning with a dead leg...

If I have to turn 3G on and off, would be rubbish bin time. I leave it on. Bluetooth off. Happy with the performance today, and notice phone not hot any more .

Every iPhone iteration has had little glitches, and the early adopters - must have "The Precious" - seem overly rectal, so I suspect things may not be as bad as they seem, and will hopefully get better.

Don't blame Evernote! I'm using it on Android and still got 90% battery left by lunch time!

Will admit my Galaxy Mini S 3 doesn't have a "battery problem". Leave all options on. The thing I don't like is it's screen size. Guess everyone needs to realise these phones and people's exspectations mix like water and oil. ALL phone makers keep trying to out-do each other, why? Sales.

Well iOS obviously has bugs. Batt this morning dropped rapidly to 90% in 45 mins on standby.

Reset phone, and hey presto, batt indicator says its 98% and now at 11 pm @ 82%

Strange but true.... Wiped iPhone and setup as a totally new phone, did not use backup to reinstall, just used sync to get content across ( contacts, apps etc ).

Was a pain in the butt to re- arrange all the apps in the right folders / screens

- End Result -

Battery at 6pm is still 54% ( last charge @ 7am ). Noticeable difference
