patongphil
Why does the milk here taste so bad? I have heard rumousr that it is actually reconstituted from powder and must admit would not be surprised as it is pretty awful stuff - ruins my tea!!!! BigJohnnyBKK
Meiji is better than the other brands, apparently not made from powder as are most. The "curdling" effect when mixed with tea is a sign that it's in the early stages of going off, not yet enough to give you a stomach ache, but maybe the next day. . . Yes, I've found Meiji ok, drink it in tea every day. I always try and get the white cap stuff on the assumption that it is low fat - is that correct? It seems about the same consistency as the semi-skimmed I used to buy in the UK.

I thought skim's a light blue? Dunno, only drink whole myself, dark blue cap. Ask at the shop if you don't see the "0%" or whatever on the label. mjj
I like milk a lot. The semi skimmed seem to taste a bit odd - kind of nutty, but the dark blue topped Dutch Mill I find tastes like UK milk. Maybe a little creamier, but not that different.

BigJohnnyBKK
Are you a hedgehog? Probably paying attention to some medieval medicine dogma based on the four humors. Not that it's much worse than big pharma's fictions either of course. . .

nokbird
In order to write fresh milk on the bottle, it must not have powder mixed in. The companies do not claim it to be Fresh Milk.
