Cant Access Many Sites With Cat Telecom

Featured Replies

seems to be a dns problem, been happening about 2 weeks now, google and facebook etc are ok but many US sites I cant access, if I refresh 3 or 4 times it sometimes goes thru, Im pretty its because the domain name cant be resolved to an IP address, or some such thing

anyone have any ideas on fixing this? normally I would do a google search, which I can do, but I cant open most of the sites it finds

Try to use Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 for the first aid.

I have noticed that the CAT CDMA have some hickups (once or twice some days) even if using the DNS above. Not sure where to pinpoint the problem

Change your DNS setting.

Open DNS:

208.67.222.222

208.67.220.220

Google DNS:

8.8.8.8

great, thanks a lot, works perfectly

I have had this problem in the early morning with my CAT service for three days now. For some strange reason it seems to resolve itself in the afternoon, then returns the next day.

I have changed DNS servers and that makes no difference, but if I type in the IP address directly in the browser that seems to work, indicating that it's a DNS problem. But why only in the AM?

Do you have more exact time for the hickups?

I noted that my connection problems were around 11am.

I'm having trouble on CAT CDMA today, anyone else ?

totster :)
