[Myanmar] Earthquake Toll Raised To 26; Aftershock Hits Naypyidaw

At least 38 people are dead or missing in the wake of an earthquake that struck northern Burma on Sunday, while there were no reported injuries following another temblor that hit the capital Naypyidaw on Tuesday. At least 26 people were killed while 12 others are missing and about 230 were injured in the quake near the town of Thabeikkyin in northern Mandalay Division, according to a report by AFP that cited the deputy general secretary of the Myanmar Red Cross Society,  Aung Kyaw Htut. The US Geological Survey said that the quake near Naypyidaw measured 4.8 on the Richter scale.
