Why Doesn't Thai Visa Have A Delete Button?

Recommended Posts

I've noticed that there are a lot of trolls and generally strange people that post on here, wouldn't it be a good idea to have a 'Delete' button so that the OP could just moderate his own posts and get rid of silly, trolling replies that threaten to derail the thread?

Maybe it's because some people would abuse it by deleting those posts they disagree with or otherwise don't like?

There's always the report button if you feel that a post is trolling or otherwise breaks the forum rules.

I don't want one. I already posted that I enjoy the grumpy old men. It adds spice to the forum and you get to learn the various posters.

Lots of the really revealing stuff about posters gets deleted nowadays unfortunately....we used to have some great battles on here....I remember a sparkling thread with the poor scared yank who decided Thailand was too danderous to visit....Paul something or other....hilarious thread that was....

Totally agree.

Some OPs may continue to delete certain posters just for reasons that they don`t agree with a comment, simply don`t like them or hold grudges from previous threads. Which means members threads would in fact be a monopoly for the OP and this would no longer be an open forum.

For example, in my case most OPs would delete my posts even before I had a chance to type out my first sentence and that would spoil all my fun and ruin my day.

A zinc based shampoo can fix that.
