oldsailor35
I am pissed off ! Had "REAL" pork sausages imported from UK for christmas BBQ ! all now in the bin ! Talk about a joke, was given no warning about power cut now in 3rd day, on Samui. Mai Pen Lai reigns. It just happened and someone must have known, Authorities could'nt organise a piss up in a brewery. Its no wonder they just 'throw the towel in' when attacked. Popular Post Soutpeel
Go and buy some more...a lot of the up market supermarkets......ie Foodland, Villa and the place in Central Pattaya do real imported British sausages, got packs of them in the freezer at home... BTW since when is a Xmas barbaque and British tradtion anyway ?....if you were a real traditionalist it would be roast turkey and all the cr*p that goes with it, irrespective of whether you are living in Blighty or the tropics....Standards have really gone down hill since the colonial days, a sausage BBQ for Xmas..just not cricket old chap..... The power goes out for hours everywhere especially when it rains. It's something you have to accept if you choose to live in a developing world country, especially if you choose to live on a island in a developing world country. Edit: just seen 3rd day not hours. chiangmaikelly
When I first got to Thailand people didn't have refrigerators in private homes. When I wanted a cold beer I'd holler at a local kid to run to the end of the street and buy a cold one from the vendor at the little store.
