I parked at the hotel, they charged me 100b a day.

The Amari opposite?

It's 250 Baht a day at the airport.

Always seems to be a nightmare with cars double parked all over the place and always full though strangely enough always seems to work out in the end - organised chaos Thai style.

no...hotel I stayed in town.

The old parking building at T-2 is open, I parked there last week. Not metered, FREE. But, there's a couple guards at the entrance and they may not allow overnight parking. Don't know, would have to inquire.

Not all that long a walk back to T-1 either, and part of it is inside.
