Visa Run From Patong To.... ?

Hi guys,

I was suppose to transfert my ED visa from my old school in Hua Hin to my new school in Phuket. Problem is, my new school in Patong could make it in time and my visa is gonna expire before transfert is done.

Anyway, I will have to do a last minute visa run from Patong to anywhere outside Thailand to get a tourist visa.

Here is my question: any good and affordable companies offering visa runs on a daily basis from Patong to "whatever as long as the can stamp my passport" ?

What is the best and cheapest way to make a visa run from Patong ? Where to go ?

I'll have to go on 11th (2 days).

Fly air asia to KL or Penang. I know a few guys fly air asia to Udon and bus it over to Laos.

What about buses to Myanmar ? I would like to find an all-in-one-day option. I've been to Penang before but no way you can make it in one day so you have to stay there, pay for a hotel, etc... Super long and boring. KL I've never tried... Might be an option indeed Thanks !

Buses to Burma work for a new visa exempt entry, not for tourist visa. And since you wrote you need a tourist visa, Penang or KL would be the easiest option.

If you just need an extra 15 days until the other paper comes through. You can go to Burma. Takes about 12 hours round. Do the Andaman Run with EVE 081-535-2637

Yes, airtravel will get 30 days visa exempt. OP did enquire though about tourist visa, but he may be confusing visa exempt en tourist visa.
