Singdam vs Yodvicha added to stacked card for Petwiset Promotion Debut Show at Rajadamnern

Published on January 12th, 2013

BANGKOK: -- The full fight card for the first ever Petwiset Promotions show at Rajadamnern Stadium was revealed today with the big news being that Thailand’s top fighter on current form, Singdam Kiatmoo9, is going up against tall teenager Yodvicha Por Boonsit.

Singdam is on fantastic form having won eight of his last nine fights and is coming off a decision victory over one of the most famous Muay Thai fighters of his generation, Saenchai PKSaenchaigym, earlier this month.

Yodvicha started 2012 in style by beating Petboonchu FA Group and will be looking to take the fight into the clinch and make the most of his height advantage against an opponent who has been at the pinnacle of the sport for over a decade.

As previously advertized the show will also feature a rematch between veterans Jomhod Kiatadisak and Somluck Kamsing and the stakes have been raised even higher this time with a five million Baht side bet. Jomhod, 42, easily won the last fight in December when Somuck, 39, faded in the latter rounds.

Petboonchu, who was last seen losing to Yodvicha at Lumpinee earlier this month, will go up against Kongsak Sitboonmee. Securing the signatures of both Kongsak and Yodvicha for this card represents something of a coup for Petwiset Promotions as both were originally scheduled to fight on a One Songchai show on February 21st.

Sam-A Kaiyanghadaogym will be looking to bounce back from a brutal recent loss to Petpanomrung Wor Sangprapai when he was knocked down twice in the opening round and he takes on Pokaew Fonjaengchonburi for the third time in quick succession. Sam-A has beaten Pokaew twice in the last 12 months but both fights were extremely close and competitive.

Petpanomrung is another teenager who, like Yodvicha, made a big impression in 2012 and he will be rematching reigning ‘Fighter of the Year’ Peneak Sitnumnoi. The two first fought at the Lumpinee birthday show in December with Peneak winning a decision which could easily have gone the other way.

The last time Somluck fought at Rajadamnern the stadium was almost completely sold out and with the always aggressive Pornsaneh Sitmonchai opening the action in a fight with Yokwithaya Petseemuan it is worth arriving promptly as tickets might not be available all night.
