Pretty standard and simplistic article. Given the lack of personal observations I wonder whether the author has even set foot in the country or if the article is just scraped from other sources.

Always amuses me when tourists want to see 'the REAL place'. Tour industry contrivance to get the money in. Kachin State right now is probably as real as it gets.

I just thought it was nice to see a bit of promotion. I want to go and check it out. According to the Australian government website (smart traveller) its still considered a high risk country lol
