Beautiful.

Sorry run out of likes.........pending.

I wish I was younger but I do remember the language of love.

Beautiful days, never to come back again.

I was touched by those roses and I'm being silly now, sorry.

Mae Fah Luang Garden Doi Tung

attachicon.giforchid 1 06.2015.jpg

They eat insects and frogs I believe?

No I'm thinking of the Nepenthes

That 1st pic looks like a dog with its head tilted....Might sound odd but that's what I saw/see. Maybe its a dog orchid.,,,,nope it's not, just googled it, there is such thing though.

Did you darken the background?

I do all my pics in RAW CB,so I probably did do a little something with the background.

Think was more a case of me taking the exposure from the flower though, that's why the background looks darker.

Just a pity I didn't take more notice of the focusing sad.png

Allamanda is the yellow trumpet flower and the other two are Canna lilies .... they make a nice continuous show ^ if you cut off the spent flowers...wink.png

Portulaca

Thanks.

Keep seeing them all over the place and thought they are weeds.

They come in many different colours and I do think they are beautiful.

yep, in the colder climates you would dig up the tubers (hope that is the right term... so many years since I have had to use the term....facepalm.gif ) for the winter.... but here they seem to do well just about anywhere from dry to very wet conditions... Never seem to see them for sale in nurseries, so a matter of splitting off pieces from a "mother plant"..... from any one who has some...wink.png

Here's some purple fountain grass in my garden, just starting to set flower.... another plant easy to divide....
