I see only negative comments as usual. Let it be the Thai woman taking all of a cheating farang (as usual) Or Stonetable Grumpies verbally batter the farang (as usual) Are here only Stonetable retirees who as usually love such stores to hide the fact, that they actually are broke and not should be here in Thailand? OK let's tackle it: Could it be that that Mister Farang lies in his last days, has slowly gathered some wealth and has no one who could inherit this little wealth? (15 Dollars 1966 are now a value of 150 Dollars, hence it was not that huge amount of a Rockefeller would have sent.) BUT I also see here the wording "received a Letter from 1966" which sounds he received it just now. That has happened before, has it? Just remember the story of a fallen soldier in WW1 as his Letter arrived in the early 80's Then it's for me a positive act that this man is searching his son and hopes to find his girl still alive. Lets hope for a heartbreaking love story to come before Betelgeuse blows up and turns into a Supernova..
