I came across this video:

and thought of all the hair raising things I'd seen on and around building/ construction sights in Thailand and thought it could be a fun topic to have postings of pic of videos of all those things we see and go wow! Etc

I'll add more and hope others do to. Whether it be house building round build, landscaping, demolition or whatever construction related; if its amazing thai style lets see it.

Cheers

Although this shows a total disregard for safety and the common sense of having a folding ramp that would disperse the weight to the ground, and horrible way to treat a truck. The gut seems to be a fairly skilled operator.

By the way, does any one know what these little excavators cost to buy, I would love to have one.

Why buy when you can not operate it, this kind of work is reserved only for the Thais.

I knew that response wouldn't be long in arriving. I only need it to use as an elevator to get to the second floor of my house. I no longer like stairs.

I think that's the standard way of doing it in Thailand. We just had a pond dug last week, and they loaded the big macro back on the 10 wheel truck in the same way. The front wheels of the truck was up in the air when the macro drove onto it.

This is the macro we used for the dig, it was slightly wider than the bed of the truck and the driver showed amazing skills in getting it back on the truck.

I have seen BobCat operators get out of excavations like a swimming pool by using a bucket to lift them out. When i got my operator's ticket for a Bobcat many years ago the question was asked about lifting yourself out of a hole and the instructor just said make sure you have the experience and skill to do it.

Don't understand what the fuzz is all about, this is not just in Thailand, but it is a worldwide practice.

Check out some of the related you-tubeclips and you will see what I mean.

Great thread ... clap2.gif

I actually admire the skill of this driver as he doesn't seem to overly stress the machines.

More like using them to their maximum capacity ...
