Jingthing Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 (edited) This should be a very very fun topic to follow Yes. Thailand has definitely embraced the DIGITAL age. The digital age, they can keep it. Regardless of whether the theme is lesbians, gays, hetros or purple people eating monsters from the planet, Krapton, the point is that this film is sexually explicit and this it seems is what it`s all about today, doing the extremes to gain publicity and an audience. So-called celebrities are doing the extremes often these days as a cheap way of bringing attention to themselves, such as, so and so goes topless on the beach – a must see and so on. Even many of the pop videos are becoming pornographic. I just see this as a substitute for these people’s basic lack of real talents, not capable or professional enough of conveying a theme of the movie with just their own acting abilities. It`s all crap in my book and what’s really worrying is that the younger generations view these 5 minute wonder celebrities as role models. It`s no wonder our kids are becoming more and more screwed up these days and hardly know what they are about anymore. I see. So who DIDN'T die and made you the Pope? Ever heard of two girlfriends with Benedicts? Edited February 18, 2013 by Jingthing
how241 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 How in the world does it "tarnish" their reputation? By suggesting that Thai lesbians have sex with each other? Who woulda thunk it +1
Soi Sauce Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Don't you dare tarnish Thailand; We can do it ourselves. Plus it is ok for cops to extort. Would've thought 2 ladies having fun was more attractive, and far less damaging. It's sad they're gay ladies but cannot afford a pink Bentley. Wot image?
lizardtongue Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 “This is just a trailer,” said Mrlbear hihi, whose comment is among the top two on the trailer’s YouTube page. “I think this movie has a lesson for us, which is to use heart, not only fingers in a relationship. How is it different from other romance films when men and women have sex? Don’t be too narrow-minded. That's a heads up guys.......................

Ever heard of two girlfriends with Benedicts? You mean that you write off every word of my statement here as nonsense with ridicule, without explaining your reasons? Don`t you think you’re a little bit pretentious? Do you have the intelligence and intellect to put up a good argument if you are in favour of this film? Doesn`t seem that way, does it? Maybe it`s because I’m an old fart and proud. I don`t need to see explicit sex scenes for the sake of, to enjoy a movie, especially if it`s placed there to compensate for the performers lack of real artistic talents and bad acting. A few erotic and sex scenes can be relevant if required to portray a message in a film, but if the whole movie is based on the theme of sex, such as titled, Fingering, no matter who it`s about, than in my book that’s a porn movie, soft porn being it may. Nothing wrong with porn for those who enjoy it, and that’s where this movie belongs, on the back shelves with all the other crap somewhere and not classified as a cult classic for the kids, which is the audience the producers are aiming at. Jingthing Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 As I haven't had the privilege of seeing a screening of Fingering, I'll hold back on my review.
Thaddeus Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 As I haven't had the privilege of seeing a screening of Fingering, I'll hold back on my review. Why? You always seem to be so opinionated about everything else you haven't witnessed or experienced. 1
froglink Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Oops! Unconscious plagiarism. Didn't see that FDog had picked up on the finger lickin theme. I'd better go and chew a bone. Bones are off topic here, methinks. @Jingthing.Good one! But I did serve you a slow ball.
balo Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Just let me know when it will premiere in Paragon CIneplex , and I will pay for the 3D version, I know it's 400 baht but I will make an exception this time. .
Beetlejuice Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 As I haven't had the privilege of seeing a screening of Fingering, I'll hold back on my review. What does having seen or not seen this movie have to do with it? My post was about how these themed movies aimed at the young and most influenced of society (the explicit sex I mean, not because the girls are lesbians) can have bad influences on the younger generations and who may be choosing the wrong kinds of characters as their role models. But instead of either ignoring my post or responding with a common sense opinion, you choose to reply with silly load of emoticons and rubbish trivia that even a 5 year old would find stupid. Strange that in this case you seem quick on the mark to ridicule people regarding their views on this movie, yet you say you are unable to share your own opinions as you have not seen the movie. So what’s your point? Or is it time to take another shtum powder? 1
Jingthing Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Lighten up, mate. This is a fun thread, not a court of law. Cheers.

Popular Post rubl Posted February 18, 2013 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2013 Reading all comments here I got the vague impression that being Dutch has somehow made me less susceptible to suggestions that putting a finger in a dyke is an offence and a crime against human dignity 3

TallGuyJohninBKK Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 It's been a bad month for Thailand's reputation and embarrassment. I suspect there's a lot of finger pointing going on today at the Ministry of Culture... Maybe someone soon will do a Rosetta Stone video for Thai lesbians.
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 In my day....being fingered meant off to jail. I believe a fair amount of fingering is known to occur in the ladies' jails...
moe666 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 My only complaint is that the Tom is way to good looking and doesn't weight 100k
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 from my experience it would seem that many many young girls experiment with the old furry carpet when in Uni or even before. Well, I hope at that age, they're experimenting with some relatively young furry carpet instead....
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 BTW, on a more serious note, it's a bit hard to tell who is fingering who in the movie at large based on the trailer... But it's always been my understanding from the experts here on this kind of subject, that among Thai lesbians.... The Tom is usually the one who delivers the fingering... but rarely wants the Dee to reciprocate.
Geekfreaklover Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 When's the offical release date? Will Fingering get the full red carpet treatment? 1
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Only at screenings once a month... 2
chooka Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 When's the offical release date? Will Fingering get the full red carpet treatment? Depends on the date
barrybankruad Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Broken fingers...would that be 'rings' or 'pinkies'?
spectre324 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I would be very interested on knowing how he/she broke her fingers! might take some excellent exploring! aren't lady boys and lesbians the same? what's with the "tarnishing image? does that mean that they had a good image before? disgusting!
brewsterbudgen Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 BTW, on a more serious note, it's a bit hard to tell who is fingering who in the movie at large based on the trailer... It will be interesting to see if the Dee in the movie chooses "the cock" over the Tom.
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) aren't lady boys and lesbians the same? what's with the "tarnishing image? does that mean that they had a good image before? disgusting! Not the same at all.... Lady boys are anatomically male-born individuals who alter their appearance and sometimes body to resemble women. But generally, engage in sex with other men. Lesbians are anatomically female-born individuals who are attracted to and engage in sex with other women (though not always exclusively or permanently). But within the lesbian group, particularly here in Thailand, there are lesbians who take on the male role and appearance (Toms), and a different subgroup take on the female role and appearance (Dees).
