Renting A Car In Bangkok June 2013

Featured Replies

Hi,

I will be back in Thailand for 1 month in June/July this year with wife + 3 kids.

Looking to rent a car while we are there for approx 3 weeks.

Does anyone know of someone who rents cars in Bangkok (full size sedan or SUV), new(ish) reliable cars with insurance.

Have looked at Avis, Budget and Thai Car Rent but all fairly expensive...

I had a guy that we used to rent from but cannot get in contact with him any more.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Cheers

Avis only want 27K Baht for a 3.0L Fortuner for a month - for something that you can rely on having actual, working insurance, to be in reasonable working order, and without a long term contract, that seems a pretty fair price.
