As an Expat: How do you feel about dying in Thailand? Will you be happy about it?
Right now, I wouldn't be happy about dying, but if I had some kind of painful, untreatable illness, I probably would be. As far as dying in Thailand, I expect I will do that. I have a will and want to be buried on the mountain behind my (my wife's) property, in a biodegradable bag with a tree planted on top of me. -

Thailand Yet to Finalise Policy on Taxing Expats’ Overseas Income
Do you have any idea what the Royal Gazette is ??? Its not a 'regular publication' like that Bangkok post - it seems your post implied that. (the Ratchakitchanubeksa) is the official public journal of Thailand, where laws, regulations, royal decrees, government announcements, and legal notices are published. It serves as the authoritative source for legal enactments and official communications from the Thai government such as: - Publication of Laws – All new laws, acts, royal decrees, and amendments must be published in the Royal Gazette before they come into effect. - Government Announcements – Official notices from ministries, departments, and government agencies. - Royal Decrees and Proclamations – Any announcements from the monarchy, including royal appointments and honours. - Public and Private Legal Notices – Includes company registrations, court rulings, and other legally required disclosures. Thus: the mere mention that a law has been published (or not) in the Royal Gazette indicates its official legality... i.e. if The Thaiger or Bangkok post reports that a Law has been published in the Royal Gazette - this would indicate it is official. -

Ukraine must cede territory in peace talks, says US
Let's start by having fair elections in Ukraine without any involvement of the EU, the US and Russia. Zelensky has postponed the elections using the war as an excuse. Let's have a durable cease fire and get the Ukrainians back home. -

Plasterboard - available sizes?
The 40cm square (often patterned) tiles are quite easily available. It’s unlikely that they will be discontinued anytime soon. I still see them being used on local village builds as the skills required are small and they are cheap -

Thai income tax (for over 180 days)
I filed my return. Specifically because I received a royalty payment into my KBank account. Also, I filed tax returns for the ten years prior, since I worked in Thailand. Thus, I already had a TIN. I owed no tax. But I received income directly into Thailand, and I am a tax resident. That said, for those who will owe no tax, I think not filing is an okay strategy. At some point, if they get serious, they will tie our extension to a tax filing. But so far they have stated clearly that they will not do that. So, for now, not filing should be okay if you owe no tax.
