.........when going abroad for two months before next report? Do the immigration keep this when going through passport control?

Thanks

Felt.

No - you should keep for your next report however and if they do not notice point out the travel (reason for reporting date being different).

I've always removed mine after passing immigration at the airport, I tend to keep them along with all my boarding cards etc.

But its absence has never been queried at my next report, perhaps I've just been lucky.

Missing report receipt could be an issue - some reports of reporter having to obtain and present a police report of loss when they could not provide. Uncommon and obviously sounds like a bad day experience but easy to avoid if you keep.

One thing I've learned in Thailand. Never throw a single piece of paperwork away. You never know when you might need it. I've still got paperwork pertaining to my work permit from 17 years ago..

Last year, I was in and out on a multiple re-entry permit issued on a 1-year extension. The reporting slip was about to fall off the staple and get lost so I did the same as Crossy, removed it but kept it in the back of the clear-view folder that I keep my passport in, along with the boarding pass stubs. Nobody ever asked to see it as my work and play never kept me in LOS more than 90-days so never had to report. Nobody asked for it when I did the subsequent new extension but since it has the Immigration chop and signature on it, I reckon it should be kept safe until it is no longer valid.
