Hello,

Every now and then while hard on gas I notice that my transmission starts to "slip" as if it was going to neutral, it lasts a moment and then the gear is back in, it happens on the 2nd, sometimes on the 4th. Went to my locals mechanics but they had no idea and at the end I heard that there is no problem. It's not a big issue while in the city but I'm going to Pai soon and would like to have it fixed.

Any ideas what's the problem? I live in Chiang Mai, can you recommend a good mechanic?

Thanks

Are you resting you foot on the pedal?

If it doesn't jump out of gear, the clutch is slipping and needs to be adjusted. The big nut on the RHS of the engine casing. Did you put synthetic oil in by any chance? Take it to the nearest big Honda dealer there is one out by the airport. NAT? Honda.

Had a look around this forum about slipping clutch, not transmission problems, and found your link to Honda c90 manual, adjusted it by myself and went for a short ride in the mountains, it's perfect now.

Thank you
