I Like Older Men.

Featured Replies

Physically, I'm attracted to handsome young men, but I actually prefer the company of older men. Young men tend to be too pushy and self centered. It's always about them and their needs. The older men who have traveled a lot have had more life experiences and many have had very interesting lives. They have a lot of knowledge to pass along and most don't mind telling stories... even if they aren't always true. A friend of my father was a good example. Geoff was a man in his late sixties when I first met him and had been off shore tug boat captain on the west coast of Canada, as well as a stunt pilot who sprayed crops in the prairies. He took me flying one time and scared the beyjazzus out of me by flying upside down just above tree level. Every time Geoff came over for a visit I would butt into his talks with my father until dad told me to go to bed. Geoff would just say "Don't be so hard on Ginger, let her stay up a while longer". Ginger is what Geoff used to call me when everyone else called me "Red". Unfortunately, Geoff has gone to his maker and I still miss him. But, I've met a few other older men here in Chiang Mai and some are interesting gentlemen. Not one has put the "make" on me because they have "other" sources for that.

May-December relationships often have more to offer than they are given credit for, in certain circles. Thanks for pointing out why younger women sometimes find themselves attracted to older men. Some older guys are quite well preserved, as well as being more interesting and less self-absorbed.smile.png

Some old men stay in their home town doing the same job, drinking in the same bar, living for the weekend at the pub. They then retire to Thailand and suddenly know the meaning of life.

I agree there are some older chaps with interesting pasts but I am under 40 and see people I had known in my last home town doing the same routine, older doesn't always mean more experienced.

I get your drift though, and as for being too pushy my last boss asked if I was on drugs because I am so laid back.

I'm the same age as the OP. Neither younger or older so I'm not getting any. biggrin.png

What a brilliant way to become poster of the year next year Rene. Your Op was music to many hair filled ears.

God, plenty older gents on here for ya Rene :P

Notice that from the first line she makes it clear she likes to bonk younger men, and keeps us old guys in the friend zone.

Nice but. . .

First rule of the internet guys, never fall for a username/avatar/etc. You never know what's waiting whistling.gif
