all of you that read my posts on my dog knows he is mine and the wf's boy,25yrs together without children so when he came along it was a gift from god.we dont go anywhere without him,he does everything we tell him to and it is a joy to wake up with him alongside us every morning.now for the topic i have always been one for planning everything that is going to happen or will happen in the future,9yrs of planning before we moved back here, everything has been taken care of except what would we do if our beloved was to pass away, the thought of him being burried in the garden i couldnt live with the thought of him rotting away in a box,do anybody know if you can have your dog cremated at the temple this is my wish.it is done in the uk.they even have pet funneral parlours.you can call me an idiot if you like but we can communicate better with him than with most people,he understands every word we say and he speaks to us in his doggy talk, everyone on our mooban speak to him as they know he will reply,so god forbid he will go after me.i have had dogs all my life from 10yrs old i can remember the first then i was a greyhound trainer for 20yrs so having had dogs before its not new to me.this one is so human half the time i think i am going barsad maybe i am going soft in my old age.if the inevitable was to happen that me/wf.were to depart to the land of nod and he found himself without his mum and dad well as we are in a good financial position this has been taken care of.

replies if you would to T.I.T. TAFFY IN THAILAND.

Cremation of pets is up to the temple authorities... but if that's what you want, don't leave it to the last minute.

I like to think that, when you bury a dog, his organic components are giving new life to other creatures.

I think there are more and more facilities in wats for a pet-cremation ceremony. I only can suggest the next wats but they are in BKK.

About Wat Klong Toei Nai วัดคลองเตยใน and Wat That Thong (Ekkamai) I am sure, but I found in the mean time also the next names: Wat Kai Tia in Taling Chan and Wat Bang Bua in Bang Khen.

I hope that your loyal and beloved friend may stay many more years with you both!
