just wondering if anyone else who is on 3BB broadband have had any of the following websites censored? Not 100% but hopefully someone can test their connection and let me know.

betfair.com

paddypower.com

Nothing to do with 3BB. They are on the MICT blacklist (designed to block gambling, pornography, lese majeste, defamation et al.).

MICT sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, so sometimes the page will load and sometimes it won't.

Now that IS funny! You could go one better and put the hardest, unblocked, porn site's IP address in there. Always going to give you a smile to be reminded of what they can't block!

Nothing very obvious about the public connection. MICT filtering is supposed to apply to all internet traffic in Thailand, regardless of who the connection is provided by or who the user is.

But, like I said, it doesn't always work.

3BB is by far the most efficient general public ISP in the Kingdom. The only site I find to be blocked in Thailand is Rolling Stone, probably one of the best non-mainstream sources out there. I know it's easy to get to by proxy, but it shouldn't be necessary. What will they block next; Thai newspapers in California?
