If you make it up here to Nan, come and say hello to the rest of the foreigners at Tony's place and then enjoy some of the best biking roads in Thailand that are here in the Nan province. To get here ride careful and slow and as others have said expect everyone else on the road to be drunk. The standard of driving here in Nan province is atrocious at the best of times so be ready to take evasive action should you need to, also be ready to meet some genuinely friendly people.

I was in Nan over Christmas / New Year and specifically had Tony's place keyed into my GPS as I was looking forward to the best steaks in Nan. As luck would have, he was not opened that night as he had some friends visiting and they were going out for dinner so that is still definitely on my bucket list!

p/s: I thought I read somewhere that Tony had moved to new premises recently?

Yes, he has moved, the new address, GPS coordinates and map location can be found on the contact page of his website

Sorry I won't be joining you for Songran this year. I will not miss the buckets of water thrown at me and the motorcycle. After nearly 4 years heading to Canada to do my taxes and whatever...back after Songran.
