Replacement Brake Pads - Dmax - Specs ?

Featured Replies

Looking to buy replacement pads for a 2007 DMAX Highlander but want to buy them in the UK on my next trip. Since DMAX is not sold there (Rodeo is) could someone tell me if there some kind of size or specification I should be asking for ? Looked through the manual but couldn't find anything. Would also be interested in replacing from discs also if it's worth it ? Would appreciate any recommendations on brands for pads and discs. Thanks.

You must be careful about the make of the caliper in case it is not an ''Isuzu'' part. sad.png

Go to the spare parts joint and buy some for the Izuzu Rodeo, I would be asking for EBC Extra Duty Brake pads.

Why, when the Izuzu Rodeo was built on the exact same line as the Izuzu D-Max. It will have exactly the same brake calipers.

You seem to add nothing of any substance to the motoring forum so why don't you just leave it, people like you drive others away that do have decent contributions to make.

With various rides I have had and gone to a spares shop for pads, they say, ''what make of calipers do you have'' sad.png , drive home, wheel off, ah. sad.png

Why don't you go to the local Isuzu dealer in Thailand and have them service your brakes, the price is very reasonable. After 160,000 kms I was still on the original brakes. I went to the dealer to check my brakes. They changed the rear, said the front were okay.

Like Transam im a user not a Tyre Fitter. For example. Put 20 Inch Ghetto rims on a truck designed for 15, and al lthe calibration is out..Its done less in ten years than the Klics read.coffee1.gif

Went to my local place in LOS for Vigo pads, 800 bht for cheapies, 1200 bht for quality, fitted. coffee1.gif

What does 20 inch rims have to do with brake pads ?

Perhaps he measures his wheels in brake pads like horses are measured in hands?

An awful lot, The bigger the Wheel the easier it is to see ones Plastic Brembo Covers in Lotus.coffee1.gif

So being the perv on wheels/brakes which pads does the OP need?.

The EU/GB market Rodeo *is* a Thai-made D-Max - the only major difference with the current generation is the engine - EU gets the 2.5L twin-turbo diesel we won't likely see until 2014-5. Older models like yours were the same car though.

Not sure why you'd want to buy brake pads for it at inflated + over-taxed OS prices, seeing as OEM ones are so cheap here anyway though?

Rodeo had the same pads for years but be aware that there has been a few pad changes.
