How To Make A Web Page Forget You?

Featured Replies

A web site I am using keep "remembering" my old username/password. How can I make the site forget me, so I can start on a fresh?

I went to Tools - > Internet Options and deleted cookies, temp files, passwords, but that did not help.

Any other suggestions?

google "ccleaner" and it will do what you ask .. plus many things besides ..

Maybe it's your browser that is remembering the name and password.

For Firefox, look at Tools / Options / Security

Then see if "Remember passwords for sites" is checked, and click on "Saved Passwords".

CCleaner, good idea. I tried AdAware, but Symantec did not let it run.

Get in blindingly drunk and leave it in a dark alleyway?

In reality this has been answered above. JetSetBKK is onto the culprit and joncl has the rest. Leaving me to be flippant and Friday funny ;)

Did you check the "Form Data" box?

This all depends on which browser you are using. This is why CCleaner is such an easy answer. Each browser has their own "clean history" arrangements, but CCleaner will do the lot in one run.
